GOLD USB

By hamans

I have to tell you, I hate these things. It’s basically a piece of ostentation in the shape of a USB drive. It’s a way of saying, “Look, work colleagues, how rich I am. Even my USB drive is made of gold, with diamonds. Imagine what my house looks like.”

So blatant is it in its ostentation that it doesn’t even bother to tell us how much storage capacity it has. The only important detail is that it comes in 14 or 18 carat gold and is available with ($3500) or without ($2800) diamonds. I’ll pass on the diamonds, thanks.

Gold has been a status symbol for quite a long time, it signifies power, wealth, and style to most people and up until now most USB drives haven’t been any of those things. What do you get when you take a tiny Pico series USB drive from Super Talent and add 24 karat gold? You get something that’s not only stylish and useful but well made and a bit classy.

The Pico-C Gold 8gb USB drive not only looks great but it’s part of the popular Pico series of USB drives from Super Talent making it durable and water resistant as well. Don’t let the classy look of this drive fool you though it’s capable of fast transfer rates clocking in at about 30MB/s, so it’s not only good looking but fairly fast as well.

The Super talent Pico-C Gold comes in an attractive gifting style box, inside we find a clear plastic box that holds the Pico-C, a gold chain and keychain lanyard.
